The program will consist of a Piano Trio in G minor, Op. 15 Bedrich Smetana, and Le Grand Tango from Astor

Mr.Karlicek’s piano playing has been described as “inspiring, rich, sensitive, stylistically taut and arresting, precise, crisp, brilliantly controlled, wonderfully colorful and always imaginative.”

The repertoire consists of works from Franz Liszt (1811-1886): From the piano cycle Harmonies poetiques et religieuses . Bedrich Smetana (1824-1884): From the piano cycle Czech Dances. Leos Janacek (1859-1928): Sonata I.X.1905. Bohuslav Martinu (1890-1959): Three Czech Dances and Eduard Schutt (1856-1933): Paraphrase on motives from Blue Danube by Johann Strauss.

The evening may also bring some young talent and prize winning ( Mozart & Beethoven competitions) musicians from Bangkok universities.

 Rescue Paws Hua HinRescue Paws is a non-profit organization created by The Global Work & Travel Co. based in Australia, and XploreAsia, based in Thailand. Started in 2013, Rescue Paws aims to first stabilize and then reduce the stray animal population in Thailand over time through vaccinations, sterilization, adoptions, and education to get it to a manageable level. Thailand faces a huge problems with the ever-growing number of stray animals living on the streets, in poor health, and reproducing at an alarming rate.Rescue Paws Hua Hin

Rescue Paws’ operation includes a staff of full time employees, volunteer vets and coordinators operating from our headquarters in Hua Hin, a small beach town just south of Bangkok. This is where we have a full kennel and surgery & rehabilitation center. Rescue Paws feeds and closely monitors the medical health of hundreds of stray dogs in the Hua Hin region. Treated animals are tagged, released and monitored as part of our daily routine. Wounded animals are assisted with medical treatment. Rescue Paws also conducts local and international adoptions and raises awareness through educational visits to local schools.
