In their own inimitable style, the 15-strong Pro Musica Orchestra, founded in 1958, perform three works by distinguished Italian composer and violin virtuoso Antonio Vivaldi – Concerto “Alla Rustica”, Violin Concerto “Il Favorito” and Concerto for 2 Violins in D Minor – together with German composing maestro, Joseph Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C Major.

A consummate evening of listening and dining pleasure is guaranteed.

Pro Musica Orchestra, led on this occasion by special guest Worapon Kanweerayothin on the flute, was founded in 1958 with the aim of promoting classical music in Thailand. Tonight, they will mesmerise the audience as they celebrate the life and works of King Frederick, himself a distinguished flutist. The programme, featuring Telemann’s “Don Quichotte” Overture; Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach’s Sinfonia in D Major and Flute Concerto in D Minor; as well as Frederick the Great’s own Sinfonia in A Major is bound to delight.
