The new Principle City Plan of Hua Hin will cover an area of 327 square kilometers which is four times bigger than the existing area of 87.20 sq km. The provincial Office of Public Works and Town & Country Planning is to hold the public hearing in order to ensure that the new city plan is acceptable to all sides before being submitted to the City Planning Committee for consideration.
The draft is designed to cope with economic and tourism growth and ensure proper infrastructure development. It regulates the use of lands and lays down transportation and logistics infrastructures in response to the growth of tourism, trade and investment in the future, according to the Director of Public Works and Town & Country Planning of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. –
