In Hua Hin you will find that most of the bars are located in the downtown area and the majority of the clubs are in the hotels. The main concentration of night life in Hua Hin After Dark is a city block that is just out from the Hilton Hotel in the direction of the Hua Hin temple. The busiest street is Soi Binthabat and here you can continue around to the Poonsuk Road which leads to Soi Selekham. Basically you can have a walk about from one end of the square and work your way around to the start again.
The most popular of the night clubs is the Hilton Brewing Company which is where majority of foreign tourists go to end the night after enjoying the sports and entertainment in the smaller pubs and bars. When this comes to an end you can still find fun just outside the Hilton hotel on the way to the Sofitel Central Hotel where there are late night Karaoke bars. These will go until you are ready to go! In the bar area you can find anything that you desire. Although, it is no where near the extreme Pattaya night life but a more relaxed fun place to have a night out. The area feels safe and families with their kids can get out to enjoy the pool, sports and some cold drinks.
Outside of the Hua Hin downtown area is more Thai style live music clubs and local foreign run bars. If you look around there are Thai style discos, Karaoke’s and Cabaret shows. The prices are less once you are outside of the downtown area and usually have a more local atmosphere. One of the more popular areas is Soi Salawat or Soi 80 and now is starting to be a popular area just to get out for a few quiet drinks.
What ever you pleasure Hua Hin has what you are looking for and the atmosphere is more relaxed and enjoyable. Good fun for the whole family!
